What motivates me? Curiosity. 

As a product designer, I focus on working with clients and teams to solve complex design problems in ways that are functional, inclusive, and visually compelling.

Curiosity is the driving force behind my problem solving - it compels me to leverage research to deeply understand a problem, explore delightful solutions, and articulate  the “why” behind nuanced design decisions.

Through my education in Anthropology and Linguistics, I’ve cultivated an ethnographic eye for the ways we as humans differ - and for the ways we are very much the same. I’ve learned to step into the shoes of others while living abroad and working as an EFL teacher, and now, as a Product Designer and Mentor, I remain curious about the ways to best connect with and authentically advocate for those I interact with. 

I am a huge believer in maintaining a growth mindset - nurturing a love of learning, a compassion for myself and others, and a determination to improve in the things I care about are some of my strongest assets as a designer - and as a human being.  

In my spare time, you can find me making art, trying out new recipes, and attempting to learn how to handstand 🤸🏽‍♀️
